"VP" Film Clip

Below is the film clip for "VP", taken from the Night Lunch EP (see below). This is the first official Triangles film clip... Now, on one hand, you might think that that's a bit tardy, seeing as though the band has been around for six or seven years or something. On the other hand, the film clip contains a new invention (the lettuce torch) which is more than you can say for most film clips. So overall I'd say just let bygones be bygones, and enjoy the song.

The Night Lunch EP

The N.L.E.P. contains four new songs, recorded in Melbourne in December 2010. We'll have a film clip for the song VP here shortly... If you would really, really like a limited edition copy of the EP mailed to you (for free!), drop us a friendly message via hotmail or myspace (including your postal address) and we'll do our best (while stocks last). Listen to the songs here or on the myspace. The cover artwork for the EP features a photographic artwork entitled "The Pastoralist", by Melbourne artist Polixeni Papapetrou (see below!). The EP itself, on the other hand, features all your favourite band members: Elle 'the force' Horsburgh on vocals, 'Jumpin' Julie Conway on Keys, Matt 'Attack' Gormann on guitar/vocals, Website Kath on bass/vocals, and Rob 'Lay-up' Simpson on the drumkit.

About The Triangles
The Triangles are a five piece band from Melbourne Australia, who began playing together in 2003. They play indie-folk-pop-rock. After two independently-released collections of lo-fi tracks in 2003-04, The Triangles released two albums through Half a Cow Records in Australia and New Zealand: "Magic Johnson" in 2005, and "Seventy-Five Year Plan" in 2007. In 2010 The Triangles' song "Applejack" appeared in a major promotion for Estrella Damm beer in Spain. An eponymous compilation of The Triangles' songs was released through Universal Music in Spain, and "Applejack" spent a month atop the Spanish iTunes charts. "Magic Johnson was re-released in Australia in 2010, and The Triangles reconvened in Melbourne at the end of the year to record and play some gigs for the first time in yonks. People sometimes ask whether the band is named after the geometric shape or the percussive instrument.
